What is Organo™ Premium Gourmet Organic King of Coffee?
A robust Arabica blend that mixes in an instant for a flavourful cup of coffee. This OG coffee also contains Ganoderma Lucidum spores powder. This gives added benefits and a hint of nutty flavour to balance the rich, bold and smooth flavour of this coffee.

Ganoderma Spores - The Ganoderma mushroom is one of the oldest mushrooms used in Chinese herbal remedies. Ranked close to Ginseng for years of usage. It is also one of the most researched mushrooms. This is partly because in Ganoderma there are substances called triterpenes and are found in many foods and plants like honey, apples, and cranberries. There are fifty of these substances that only found in Ganoderma mushrooms. When the Ganoderma Lucidum mature, they release spores. These spores are what used for our Premium Organo King of Coffee.

Ganoderma spores are expensive. Not just because of their nutrients, but also because timing the harvesting of them has to right. How the spores are ‘opened’ also impacts the quality.
Ganoderma Lucidum takes about 5-7 months to mature. When it does, it will release spores in a most amazing array of nature. The spores release from the underside of the mushroom. They then cover the entire mushroom within a few minutes. After a few hours the spores cover the entire micro-environment. It takes almost 2000 pounds of spores to make 2 pounds of spore powder.
Spores are impossible for humans to digest due to their hard coating. To open, they must be carefully ”cracked”. The trick is not to spill any of their precious and microscopic contents. Our bodies can then digest the spores.
Organo™ treat their Ganoderma spores in a unique way. The outer shell and inner protective lining of the spore are both ‘cracked’. This ensures a clean, pure spore powder. Other companies can do a simple one crack process. This allows some of the inner shell to remain in the powder, making it less pure. Additionally, the Organo™ spore powder is Organic.
